New neck day! Too big for the pocket : (

I bought a brand new Allparts maple blocked & bound neck. But it's slightly wider than the pocket on my Fender Jazz bass.

Is this an easy fix for a luthier/ skilled woodworker to remove some wood from the sides?

I had the same issue with one I bought. It was fixed easily. Later, I swapped out the Allparts with a used Geddy Lee neck on the same bass and had to shim a tiny bit. The guy who put on the Allparts said it was the tightest fit he'd ever seen.
