Second, it's just too LOUD for my tastes as a top, As a back its beautiful. On the first one I rubbed in a little Sedona Red into the Mango. Then I sanded it back so that the red wasn't over bearing. Finished with satin. In the 2nd pic I finished it with Tung oil only.

Oh I dunno. It is my first attempt at making a semi-acoustic. I had a hard time with designing in enough chamber space and a pleasing shape. The top is rosewood and the piss poor photos don't do it justice. It sounds really good though. Oh yeah the rosewood dust sent me to the doctor with a serious chest infection. Who knew I was allergic?
