New Sort of build

Sign in to disble this ad
A friend of mine gave me an old Cort Steinberger copy. It has Bartolini J and P pickups, body is banged a bid and has been de-fretted. I can see there is a fiberglass coating on the body and the neck pocket. Sounds OK, but I would like to build a new bass with existing hardware. This will be my first build so the only think I will be loosing is the cost of the wood.

I am reading through some of the posts (great work) and learning a lot.

Thanks

Here is a quick sketch of what I am thinking. Feedback is welcome.

Thanks

The reason I went with P/J is I already have them. otherwise I would have gone with J/J.
