so in my watchings on craigslist, i regularly come upon really cheap basses. I've also been wanting a fretless bass for a while to add to my growing collection. So, when i found a $70 Rogue bass, i went for it.

I'd never heard of rogue before looked them up and they used to be decently good beginners basses. no complains that i could find, musicians friend had the discontinued sting up and it had like 4.5 stars, so i was like ok.

Here's my new bass!

Since i already have a red bass, and i was planning on taking the frets out anyway, figured that i'd go ahead and completely redo it. and I figured i'd take pictures and start a thread here, to ask advice along the way and let people watch a bumbling, fumbling idiot's very first attempt at making a bass better than it was (not that it was all that bad to begin with).

I plan on this hardware:

the bass is going to be stark white (with all black hardware ^_^)
