I think the board it was made from could have been 2-3 really nice tops.

For me this is far too 'busy' - too much going on, it looks like a crazy mix of grains, stripes and sections. I'd prefer a much less tarty piece of wood with some classic understatement in true british fashion. This is brash and overdone. My 10c worth.

It's a two or 3 peice body, you can see one join line right under the lowest section of the upper horn. It was probably made from stock that was not wide enough to cut tops from.
