NTD - Rasps

new hand-made rasps arrived at my doorstep!

- (top) Auriou (France) cabinet maker's 250mm x 32mm x 5.5mm #9 rasp
- (bottom) Gramercy (Pakistan) cabinet maker's 10"x25tpi rasp

I'll post my thoughts on these once I've had a little time to work with them on multiple woods

all the best,

R

I'm eager to read about your experience with the Auriou rasp; I've been curious about them, and would like to know how they compare to the Nicholson #49 and #50 patternmaker's rasps I've been using.

So do I, Mikeywood!

My latest purchase is downright pedestrian compared to Rodent's rasps, but it's all good!

I just got a sand devil; it's a hand-sanding pad that's built to be used with standard 3" x 21" sanding belts:
