Question Nut cut too deep on A string

Sign in to disble this ad
Got a used fender precision deluxe mexican bass.

On A string nut is cut too deep/low and string is too close to fretboard at nut.

I don't want to replace the nut.

I've heard that you can build up the nut using a filler but I don't know what filler to use.

Anyone done this and know what filler to use?

Thanks

+1 for superglue, works like a champ once it sets up.
