Oh, fudge... but I didn't say fudge. Botched stripping
So, I'm building a "Fenderbird". I had a Tobacco Burst Epi Thunderbird body which I stripped with a heat gun. As I started sandiing I noticed that there was a bubble in the laminate, I figured I would strip, sand and fill that spot. Then I noticed another and another and so on... So, now I have a bunch of spots where a thin layer of laminate has been stripped off. My plan was to fill them, sand them and move on but recently someone told me this would have a negative impact on the sound. Is this true? Should I try to strip the whole layer?
