hey, where can I get a new nut for my G & L L2000? I just broke the old one, and I need to get this girl back in action quick. I dont mind installing it myself, just dont know where to get one.........

I have super glued cracked nuts and they worked fine. Give it a try after all you can't damage it...it's already broken.

If you can't glue it back together, you should just have a new one cut for your bass. Off the shelf, pre-carved nuts are pretty close to useless.

I recommend have a competent tech make a new nut for you from bone - it sounds good, allows the strings to pass through the nuts slots with little binding, and looks nice.
