Paint and Wiring Questions

A Couple of Questions:

I'm Re-Finishing a Squier P-Bass, Looking for a shell Pink or close approximation. I looked at tower paint but want to avoid paying $30 for one can if possible, also looking at re-ranch, but I'm not sure I want to use nitro. If any one has any ideas i'm open to suggestion.

Also, Using Fralin Pickups, and thinking of installing an on/off switch. How difficult would this be, and is there a good step by step walk through out there for someone who can operate a soldering iron, but not a wiring diagram?

I have used ReRanch many times and love the colors that I get AND nitro is easy to use, with great results!

All you need is a place to spray it and I suggest protective gear.
