| Isn't that an electrically applied (like plating) process to get the powder to stick, and then must be baked at high temps.? IIRC, the temps are high enough that aluminium has a lower temp process than steel to avoid damaging it. Leaving the electrical question alone, the temps alone likely prohibit it. Finish in satin or flat, or, for that REALLY rough finish, lightly sandblast or shot-peen the wood before finishing.
