Ok, friends, more work done: Headstock

First I draw the shape in a paper, then on the ziricote top.
I cut the ziricite top and I glued it on the headstock.

Them I used my band saw to cut almost to the drawing line, and finally, I use a drum sander to make almost the final shape

And I like to put a first coat of oil to check better the scratches and to put the wood harder. Now you can see the woods darker, but will be little lighter when polish

That heal transition is so clean. I can never keep that sharp edge and the line straight.

This is now in my hands I will post some hi res photos when I get home tonight. What I can tell you is that this is the best 5 string bass I have ever owned. Oscar poured his heart and soul into this bass and it is stellar. Complete tonal clarity through all parts of this bass. His knowledge is second to none, and his craftsmanship is one the same level as luthier such as Mr. Fodera, Mr. Tobias, Mr. Smith, etc. I have been incredibly blessed to have owned so many works of art in my life, and this is one that will never leave my collection...
