Have digged this build out again, have put in the fret markers and sanded the fretboard to radius (20"). I am thinking about treating the fretboard with danish oil. Is it best to do this before I hammer in the frets or after? The neck will be clear coated.

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Tore

Have been thinking about this for a while. I am making a guitar shaped as a salamon for my friend who is a total fishing loonie... I have used Danish oil for both the body and neck, I really like the feel. Will use it on the neck, both front and back...

Not finished yet. 2-3 wipes with the oil on the neck and I will put it together.

Cheers

Nope. That's clearly a "tunacaster" headstock.
