Replacing a truss rod...

Any helpful comments on replacing a truss rod in a USA Jazz rosewood fretboard bass neck would be MORE than welcome.

Does it have a walnut skunk stripe on the back of the neck? Well then, guess how you have to take it out...

Wink Replacing a truss rod

No skunk stripe..... Bought a USA Jazz neck. Went by a picked it up. Guitar tech said he'd tried everything EVEN replacing the truss rod. Guess what???? Got it home & backed the tension off the truss rod & WOW!!!!!! The neck straightned itself out. GOOD TO GO!!!!!!!!!
