And the case is not as funky smelling as the seller let on. Don't even think it needs any Febreeze! I'll post some pics later this morning for sh*ts and giggles!

I am going to keep it purple with the black hardware. Might go with recessed Dunlop strap locks because I like 'em but those bat wing's are pretty cool and this has both of them.
One more thing, this is light! 7.5 lbs!

Plugged it in and was instantly gratified with the tone coming out of it. Deep and punchy and with a couple turns of some knobs goes to some real cutting funk tones. + all points in between! Really powerful pickups and amazing versatility from a passive bass.
I am bringing it to our next practice this week and maybe even our gig Saturday nite. Give it a last hurrah before I start pulling it apart to work on.

Anyone know where to get a Roadstar truss cover? Or maybe 2?
Both my basses have their rods hanging out.

wraub | I would try Repro guitar parts: http://reproguitarparts.com/#!/~/cat...=0&sort=normal
You may have to email them for your specific cover. |

Had great tone and a healthy thump after I got it dialed in on the amp settings. Played it thru my Streamliner 900. Set the amp with a bump in the upper mids and wham! There it was. Even beat up it is a great playing bass. It's a keeper!

On the Plus side, I am starting on mine over the Christmas break so maybe we can cure our withdrawls that way.
