Signature preservation on guitar body

I was wondering what the best spray or laquer would be to use on a gloss black finish w/ a silver ink signature.I don't want to wash the signature off when I spray it & don't want to eat my finish away either.Thank you for your input.

Whatever you use, I would suggest doing a test piece if possible. The solvent in many paints will dissolve some marker ink. I'd get the original or another of the same type/brand marker, write something on some kind of glossy surface, and spray over with your possible clearcoat. Good luck.
