Dear all master, i just thinking, for my broken P bass truss rod, if i cut open the first fret to access the truss rod anchor, and remove it somehow, will it be possible for me to pull out the entire steel rod and from the heel and replace a new one in?

I'm guessing the rod is dead? if so check out Stew-Mac's Truss Rod Rescue Kit, it's supposed to be quite good. and it might just solve your problems. --> www.stewmac.com
