Skinny Body

Hi. I'm toying with the idea of making a bass as light as possible. As part of this I would make the body as skinny as possible. What's the skinniest you would feel comfortable going and why? Also, can I get the headstock skinnier than normal?

Too skinny and you'll have problems mounting controls or installing pups and electronics.

To be honest if I wanted lightweight I would look at a solid centre but hollow body wings. That way you wouldn't be plagued by hollowbody feedback but still lose a lot of weight

I'm building one a bit under an inch thick right now. I'm building my own extra thin active pickups though, and the output jack is going to be a very close fit.
