So, I removed my fretboard ...

I had to remove my fretboard to replace the truss rod. I steamed it off with an iron as I've seen described here and on other forums. My question is how long do I have to wait to reattach the fretboard to the neck? Do I have to wait at all? or can I just clean things up and glue it back down?

If its not flat, you might try re-heating it and clamping it flat to a table, between two flat boards, etc.

But once its flat, and all the old glue has been scraped off both it and the neck, you're good to go.

Thanks. It's definitely not flat so I'll try reheating and clamping and see how it goes.
