Hi Guys,
I am planning to order 5 strings bolt-on bass guitar and there is a two choice for top.
One is quilt maple top and another is bubinga top
Both are all the same, maple neck, maple fretboard and maple body.
Since I can't try this bass myself and need to decide soon so your thought would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Personally I think quilted maple looks hawt...

The sound difference depends on specific gravity of the material. Maple has a lower specific gravity than bubinga... and based on this I would assume bubinga would have a more dense resonance.

I doubt there will be a true difference in sound, and you should probally decide based on your tastes. The top is only 1/2 inch thick anyways isnt it?
