Nope. I spent around $100 on the fabric but wasnt able to get it flat enough. I was going to give it another attempt or two but then found this neck for a great price and couldent resist buying it.

Ah okay, I was under the impression you were going to do a full body wrap with the carbon graphite. Its looking really nice, either way. Congrats on the build!

Thought I would upload some better photos before starting finishing in a few weeks.

Ive ordered some reranch heritage / cherry red as well as black and red dye to test some different combinations. Im happy that ive finially gotten to applying a finish since its my favorite part, execpt for the wait. Hopefully I will be in Cancun while waiting for it gas off!

So now on to finishing. After sanding the body to 320, I dye the body black and sand down the stain.Attachment 302593

I then apply a lught coat of sanding sealer and apply some timbermate wood filler. Lightly sand down with 320 and apply more sanding sealer.Click image for larger version

Thanks. It really turned out good. Sounds just like I was hoping it would. It can get just about every sound that I would like to get from a single instrument.
