Storage of bass guitars

What do you guys think are acceptable ways of daily storage of bass guitars? Case/bag? Stand? Hook on te wall? Just lying around somewhere?

I think any of the above is a good way to store it, the key is to keep the temperature and humidity stable.

Your case is your bass's best friend. Keeping it in the case will keep a good setup intact.
This is especially true with older Fender basses.

If there are kids in the house, and if you want quick access to the bass, I would use wall hangers in a low traffic area. Safest? Probably a hard case, under the bed.

Never use wall hangers. Most bass necks will stretch out one or two inches if left hanging for a year or so.
