Technical details for MM pickups?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everybody!
I would like to try to rewind the MM pickups of my MTD Heir 5. Does anybody know about the exact details of the most respected MM pickups (Nordstrands, Bartolinis, EMG-s, Delanos etc.)? I would like to know as much details as possible - the wire, number of coils and turns, resistance, inductance, magnets etc. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
Margus

You can get resistance info on SDs here:
http://www.seymourduncan.com/compareTones/matrix.asp

AFAIK the ""resonant peak" number would be dependent on the resistance as well as the internal inductance and capacitance, and external circuit resistance and capacitance, all of which are not given.

Thanks! I'll try to grab all the information before I start my trial and error method.
