| hey Jack, go to Home Depot or a hardware store, buy some liquid wrench, or PB Blaster, press some paper towel under the nut, and put a couple of drops on the nut. Let it sit over night, and come back with your truss rod wrench, and take the nut off. clean the threads with a small wire brush, and some more liquid wrench, and wipe clean. Apply new nut with a light dab of lube on the threads, and you are set.
