Tungoil on a Airline Pocket Bass bridge?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is it a good idea or stupid? I recently bought an Airline Pocket Bass from USA and living in Sweden. Here is the climat very dry in the winter, so I´wonder if it´s an good idea to put a thin coat of tung-oil on the wood bridge to prevent cracks. Or is that going to affect the sound in an bad way. There´s an piezo pickup under the bridge.

Regards
Mingus
