Here's a build that I'm a few weeks into, the customer wanted a different shape so together we came up with this, its a modified SC-2 with custom shaped lower horn and headstock.
Specs:
4 string
Single cut
34" scale
Set neck
24 frets
5 laminate neck of maple, purpleheart, and wenge
Mac ebony fingerboard
Wenge tranny block
Figured walnut top
Three piece core of Honduras mahogany and maple
Sappy walnut back
Wenge accent veneers between body laminates
Matching headstock top and bottom
Delano X-tender quad coil pickups
Hipshot bridge and tuners
Black hardware
Audere z-mode preamp 18 volt
Coil tap/series/parallel switch per pickup and master series parallel switch for both pickups
Matching control cavity cover.
I apologize for not posting this sooner as you can see the project is well under way.

When gluing I use a rounded caul made from pine in the volute area, the flat area above the volute gets a flat caul. Clamping can be tricky.

My first exposure to Delano Electronics was on a Humanbase Jonas 6 String fretless I had (and never, ever shoulda sold). It was that experience that got me to put Delanos in my first Noah, along with the Delano preamp.
I'll warn you if you decide to go with the Delano preamp: it's the hottest, most sensitive preamp I've ever used on any bass, ever. I almost wish I woulda went with something else, only because the Delano pre is so touchy.
On the plus side, however, I find that with the settings flat and balanced, the Delanos in my Noah produce a tone that is on par with my F-Bass (it's okay, everyone! . . . you all can be skeptical as you want! lol). The secret to using the Delano pre is to make small adjustments.
The pickups you've chosen are very hot also; I'll be interested in seeing what you think later!
