Very nice! Subscribed, of course . Btw, you might want to translate 'toets' and 'brug' in your specs...

I am glad to see someone using his designs since he is not building.

I decided not to use the headstock Mike used for his basses.

My options:

original browne 4 string headstock:

original browne 5 string:

Adamovic headstock:

Those original headstocks just don't match with the shape of the body, so I'm going to use the Adamovic headstock.

I can't find a memorycard-reader, so I'll post some pictures later.

Nice shape, good choice . Although there seems to be something wrong with your picture... you did a scarf joint, right? Well, I cannot spot the seam, no matter how hard I try..

I did, but I glued it like this:

So the seam in only visible from the side.

I made some "chocolate chips" this weekend:

Receipe for chocolate chips:

-route neckpocket
-saw fretslots
-glue fretboard
-route neck to final shape

I'll try to make some pictures of the neck tomorrow (I don't have a good camera at the moment, made this picture with my blackberry..)

Sanded the fretboard-radius today. After sanding with my 20" radiusblock, I found 20" too flat, so I decided to go for 9,5".

I really have to build myself a radiusjig because I hate sanding with those radiusblocks...

That's a nice piece of pao ferro! Looking good! How's the profile on the back of the neck right now?

Fretted the neck yesterday. Haven't dressed and crowned them, hope to do that this weekend.

Nice! I like the dark woods contrasting the frets. I would vote for my progress pics .. how's the neck profile looking? And how does it look together with the body?
