Warwick woods inspired Beardly 6 string fretless.

I have always been a fan of Warwick and have always wanted one of their high end basses. However, i do not have a few grand laying around for one. So I am building my own 6 string. Body is bubinga, neck is wenge and purpleheart.

and a sweet as can be cocobolo fingerboard.

fitted the headstock for temporary tuners.



i am in the process of sanding sanding sanding. yep, the part i hate....

got the nut and bridge slotted and prepped with a junk set of strings today. i finished all of the heavy sanding this morning and will move to the next sanding stages tomorrow.

i put the finishing touches on this project this morning.

The final specs:
Bubinga body
Wenge/purpleheart neck thru
Cocobolo fingerboard
36" scale length
Single EMG Hz wired to a single volume control wired to a jack
Black hardware
Warwick tuners
Finished with Howard's Feed-n-Wax
Strung with Darkhorse Strings
9.2 lbs on the bathroom scale
