Question What do you think of this building steps &use of router in such a way

Well the title is mostly self explanatory. I'm planning to build/assemble a flying V inspired bass with air chambers and a walnut top. For carving the top and back of the bass I'm planning to pass with the router using 2 templates. Do you think it will work? Any suggestions are welcome...

I know when i had mine built, he did the back archer with a table saw, then carved the front....
