Where to buy "off brand" parts?

Sign in to disble this ad
Who online or via mail sells a wide variety of parts to build basses? I want to keep costs down as well has choose components that are somewhat unique. EG I saw these pearl tuners on the bay and was wondering if anyone knew of some parts vendors who might have them in stock as the ebay sellers won't respond to my questions:

Thanks

I just bought a bridge, some knobs, and stuff from these guys:
http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/
they have an eBay store too.
There's many different places to buy parts:
warmoth.com
stewmac.com
lmii.com
EBay has lots of cheap stuff, but keep in mind, just cuz they look cool, doesn't mean they are!

www.allparts.com is the place you need to go for inexpensive, weird, off brand stuff (they have the good stuff too). Their site isn't great but they have a nice catalog.

However, they are fairly overpriced on the quality stuff...
Sometimes it's cheaper to get the parts from the brand manufacturers (eg I got a pair of 6-string Rough Crystal humbuckers for €105 off their ebay.de webshop; ABM gave me a massive discount, too, when I ordered my bridge; etc)

The prices that you see from Allparts are full retail....Get yourself a state tax ID and file some paperwork with your states Dept. of Revenue and Allparts prices are cut in half...But you need to be legit! Legit doesn't mean you have to be making any money running a full time or part time business!

I've used these guys from time to time...

.....here is WD's retail site......

Assuming one has the proper state tax ID (etc), where does one sign up on the Allparts website? I couldn't find any link that applied to wholesale buyers.

TIA!

Just give them a call....That is exactly what I did.

http://www.basspartsresource.com/ is where I buy all my stuff now. They're prices are equal or lower to any other place I've found, and I've always had good experiences with them. Shipping is fast and no errors.
