Who wants to build me a ramp?:)

Hey guys,

I need a ramp on my Lakland 55-02! Is this appropriate to post here? Not sure...
Anyways, it's the one in my avatar.

I don't even know what kind of wood would be best, as the top wood is already beautiful. I guess something to blend in with the current pickups - ebony.

How much would I be looking at? And I'd probably like to glue or tape it on so it's not permanent.

Thanks,

Matt

What would be really cool is a polished clear acrylic ramp. Don't want to hide that pretty top!

I'm doing the same with my 55-02. Any advice on the dimensions of the ramp when the pups aren't the same width? Would it be more beneficial to match the ramp width with the MM style pick up because it's wider? Or would it be better to taper the width from the MM pu to the jazz? Right now I have a temporary one on it that is the width of only the jazz pu because I was making it for a different bass and screwed up!
Thanks...

I had Pete Skjold make a ramp for a Jazz Bass not too long ago. Turned out well and he was easy to work with.
