Wood effect box finishing

Hi luthiers.

I am building some effect pedals with wood box enclosures. (the wood part is why I'm asking here)

I have my boxes put together.

Now comes time for drilling...or finishing?

The finish is going to be a Minwax Tung Oil Finish.

Should I drill all my control and jack holes before Minwaxing the boxes or after?

process

I made a few fine wood pedal boards a while back. Minwax is what i used also. I drill everything pre finish just to be sure you don't scuff the finish when drilling.
