Working graphite.

I've got a Moses graphite fretless neck that has some fairly sharp edges that I would like to round off. It has a fairly thin layer of diamondwood as a fretboard.

Can I roll the edges on graphite without ruining the neck? Can graphite be worked like wood? Can anybody provide any advise regarding this kind of thing?
