I just open the AFM paper. Two positions open in the New York Phil. There will be a lineup around the block!

There are two section openings. Who else from the section retired? Or did they audition/promote from within for Assistant Principal?

I heard that Andrew Tombley won both NY Phil auditions, can this be confirmed?

The two bassists who are retiring are John Deak and Michele Saxon; both have been there over 30 years.

Michele Saxon is retiring, but the section audition coming up will be the third audition for Lew Norton's position. Saxon's will be in the future.
