Question College audition stuff

hey guys its martin,
I would really appreciate it if you helped me out here.
My teacher is a grad student at UNT, and today he asked me where i was planning on going. I said most likely UNT, but he told me to have a backup. i thought he was kidding, but apparently its difficult to get into UNT. does anyone know on average how many bass players are enrolled in the college of music, or on average how many they accept? This would really help me out.
Thanks, Martin Lazo

If I remember correctly I think both the Jazz teacher ,Lynn Seaton, and the Classical, Jeff Bradetich, have studios of about 12 bassist each. I bet on average they have at least 3 or 4 seniors everyear so 3 or 4 new spots. These arent exact numbers just my guestimations.

If you're looking to stay in Big Sky Country, I would also consider Baylor, Texas Tech (with Morton), and UT-Austin. Texas just received a massive endowment. Abroad, look at Duquesne for Jeff Turner and Eastman.
