Flying on Frontier...Bombardier Q400 Turboprop?

I've flown a lot, but never on Frontier Airlines and never with a turboprop. Has anyone actually gotten a flight case on a Bombardier Q400 Turboprop?

FYI- I have the smallest Gage Case

Need to buy a plane ticket soon...so please respond fast!

Thanks,
Louis

So no one replied... I had to buy the ticket...

so now I'd at least like to take a pole and see how many people read the previous post, laughed and just knew I'll be in for an "awesome" time at the airport.

you'd like to take a pole...hehe.
Did you call the airline/look up their policies prior to buying the ticket?
I've heard Frontier is good with basses and only charges $50, but I'm not sure if that applies to prop planes.

Well, a Q400 has a HUGE luggage area, but there is absolutely no way you'll get the case in the main cabin.

by luggage area do you mean under the plane or in the passenger cabin?

I'm not planning on taking it on the passenger part of plane.

I saw your post. I've flown Frontier, but not that type of plane. Frontier sucks, but it's the cheapest way to fly to Aspen. Is that where you are going?

Wow, my experience with Frontier has been nothing but positive. Have flown with them and my bass many, many times (I'm based in Denver as they are). I wouldn't say they suck by any means. Possibly bankrupt, yes, but a good airline. They usually charge either $50 or $100, depending on who checks you in. Haven't flown anything but Airbus jets with them, I'll be curious to see if a flight case fits on the turboprop. Keep us updated, please!
