I plan to audition at Michigan, Iowa, Lawrence, Butler, and Northwestern. Other than those there's just a bunch of maybes, I need to look more. Maybe I'll get some ideas from someone.

| | | UNT is my top choice due to its relative cheapness, and its 35 miles away Plus, Jeff "Banana Hands" Bradetich is the director!
If my SAT scores go up 400 points then i will consider Oberlin, TCU, UT austin,

I hate the trend of abbreviating anything under the sun and assuming people know what it is. |

I've heard that Austin is a really great music town too. My teacher just had one of his other bassists get accepted at UNT, but I think he's focusing on the recording/technical side, thats another really good school. |

Definitely consider auditioning for his studio -- He is a great bass player & teacher and a very nice guy!

| | | | Ive narrowed down my choice to Texas Christian. im considering West Texas A&M with nick scales(he's a great guy) and if i get rejected, ill go to UNT to major in something else because i suck too much to study w/ jeff.

Geez futurebass, I thought you landed some nice post in that orchestra you auditioned for. Aim high! If you want to study music at UNT, it cannot hurt to at least audition. Everyone I talk to seems to talk about how crappy they played at their audition, no matter what it was for, but, most of the time they do get into the program and get the gig. |
