It's that time again; audition help

Alright well I don't know how many of you are familiar with the audition system in Humber College in Toronto. One of the requirements is that there has to be two prepared pieces

Quote:
Prepared Pieces: Please have two selections prepared; one in jazz style and one in classical style.

A) Jazz style: Play a melody, bass line and optional solo on a jazz standard
B) Classical style: Place a piece which demonstrates your musicality and instrumental ability
I'm just kind of frantic so excuse the stupid question but I just want a second opinion. Could I do In The Mood for a jazz piece, is it considered to have a melody and bass line?

Also I'm still trying to think of a classical piece, any suggestions?

Oh and anyone who's been through humber's bass program, what did they have you do in the audition?
