I'm sure Mr. Rousse is a fantastic player but I'm a bit sad that a Canadian didn't get the spot.

I think canada gave that up when they started teaching americans to play in 5ths

Hmm..What did you mean by this? Elaborate. Not many players in Canada tune in fifths. I'm convinced of the tuning but it's not as widely accepted as some may imagine.
