I went there for 2 years. At the time Hal was teaching about 4 lessons per bass player there, and Ranaan Meyer was teaching 3 or 4 as well. Now, I think, they only do masterclass stuff. Instead, Curtis graduate Mary Javian is teaching lessons, and Rob Kesselman, Philly Orchestra bassist, is running orchestral rep classes. It's a fun camp with performance opportunities, a concerto competition, and the bass players are good. Otherwise, it's kind of expensive. I would definitely recommend it
