Virgin America Airlines

Anyone have any experience flying Virgin America with a bass? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks for the help.

So far i have been very lucky with American.. My gig bag will hang in a clothes closet so that is what i do.. hang it up as you enter the plane.. I only flew Virgin many years ago an dthey allowed my put my gig bag in overhead..... but that was many years ago on their 747.
SW airlines is another story.. they are touch and go

What kind of double bass do you play? It seems like the overhead would be a bit tight for my 7/8 bass.
