I'm a Canadian double bass player, and I am applying for the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Just thinking of collecting up comments from you guys! What do you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oXh8...ature=youtu.be |

The concerto was very good as well.
If memory serves me right, it's the Koussevitsky Concerto
Bach Suite for Flute and Orchestra No. 2
Mozart Symphony No. 39
Beethoven Symphony No. 7
Wagner's Flying Dutchman Overture
A Flat Major/F Harmonic minor scales and arpeggios, three octaves
Mahler Symphony No. 9
Best of luck with your audition and hope you get in.
Who knows, I may be joining you in a few years time.
