Seems a bit excessive to me, would you guys agree?
I think it would be a lot better if TB offered say a 5 year membership at a discount. |

If ya dig it, why not invest in its future?

Why not ask more knuckle heads to pay up some dues and become a paying member. I was on the board one day and realized its world wide appeal and value.

And for some of us that'd be easier to swing than lump payments. I dunno.

God Bless, Ray | Personally, I don't want to worry about renewing my membership all the time. I want to pay once and not worry about it again for a long time. |

I'd rather see it this way, for those with less disposable income, such as myself. It actually seems more feasable with an operation like a website with monthly expenses. Quote:

I'd propose a "contractural" type agreement where an end user such as myself can be a "Supporting Member" for X amount per month/quarter, but if said end user misses paying the monthly/quarterly installment they not only lose access to the "Supporting" portion of the site but they'd lose access to the whole site for a predetermined length of time as a penalty for "breaking" the agreement.
Just a thought.

That would rake in the money!!
But might make the forums less popular overall..when the newbies get insulted by the Mega Bucks members!!

I would buy a 5 year membership. No problem.

I see no point in cameras in phones - but It'd be silly to say that they weren't selling!

This is the reason I propose a monthly/quarterly type plan. Those of you who can spare the $, more power to you. However given other payment avenues to become Supporting, I'd personally stand a better chance.
God Bless, Ray
