Some of these google generated ads are like visual polution. This Noise Bot ad seems very irrelevent to our group and it is showing up on almost every page. Is there anything that TalkBass can do to influence the content of what shows up in the forum's ad spaces? |

But the N0iseb0t a8d8s are like the plague, nothing helps.

Supporting memberships only cover 40% of our budget (which is actually HUGE, very few communities have such a generous user base!) - 60% is from banner ads and forum sponsorships.

I have no issue with the advertisements. |

I get the ad immediately then TB content comes through delayed. It seems like it started w/the noise bot ads but I could be wrong.

Maybe it knows I don't fit the demographic!!??

My wife has a couple shirts from them. I've no issue with them advertising here.
(I love the shirt with the Orange saying 'Mom' to the glass of orange juice.) |

Back on topic, I don't think they're offensive, but the same thing over and over on 40 pages is tiresome. A little more variety would be nice.

Thats just on my laptop tho. Currently using the parents desktop and they dont have firefox and im too lazy to install it.
My 2 cents: Ads are a fact of the internets now. Deal and move on |

I also noticed that when you click on the Noise Bot ad, it takes you away from the TB site instead of opening a new page. They do have a cool shirt that states, " I love cats, I just can't eat a whole one". Quote:
