The one we had here never really caught on... it was a bit like having a trampoline in the back yard getting all rusty and covered in leaves...

The reasons that the chat were discontinued is 1. because few people used it, and 2. because the license for the software cost extra money, which 3. was not a justifiable expense, see #1. |

As a technical admin on two vB forums I have personally used that chat mod, it's free and works very nicely. There are plenty of options, and for a 30$ paypal donation you can get the copyright removed if you so desire. I personally would use this and since it's free, why not :P. Oh also, vBulletin 3.50 will be going final soon and you guys need to get ready for the upgrade, you're already out of date since there is v3.08 now.
