I've put in a javascript hack that will dynamically resize any image wider than 800px, down to 800 pixels wide. So when someone posts a 3rd-party-hosted image that's 2000 pixels wide, instead of stretching your screen a mile wide and requiring you to scroll L/R to read text, the image will be shrunk to 800px wide.
If you want to see the full size of the image, simply click on it. Since this is a javascript thing, it will require a recent browser with javascript enabled. If you think we should go smaller than 800 pixels, let me know. With the sidebar, the total screen width will be about 930 pixels. So 1024x768 screen resolution and higher is recommended. Does anyone actually still use 800x600?
