EUB Bass construction forum

I've been making my own EUB and need to swap construction ideas with other EUB makers.

Somehow the Setup and Repair forum doen't quite seem appropriate. I wonder whether any other talkbassers would like a bass construction forum?

Hmmm ... that's in the BG forum!!!

I'm talking uprights here and I can find only TWO references to EUB in the Luthiers Corner. Nothing about making them. There's a bit more in the DB setup and repair section, but I'm not talking setup or repair.

I'm talking upright, no frets, long scale, piezo pickups etc and trying to emulate a Double Bass sound and feel in an electric instrument.

You won't find any discussion on bridge height or choice of wood in a BG forum ...

I suppose I'm after like minds and not too much crosstalk!
