Just a question for Paul really - about whether we used to have this and has it disappeared intentionally or not?

A welcome message is a good thing to have front & center. It used to be there but got buried. I'll add it to the list...

The message was seen earlier and appeared as :

Which was exactly what I expected but then it was edited - why?
