Live sound forum

A Live Sound forum might be useful. There are often threads with questions about PA gear and sound reinforcement techniques. Currently these threads are scattered about, but usually end up in Misc.

Much like the recording forum, I think there would be enough interest to keep it active.

That's actually not a bad idea. The live sound/PA type questions seem to be scattered everywhere from Amps, to Band Management and Performance, to Miscellaneous.

Here's a very small sampling of the last couple months, just in Misc alone, searching on one word - mixer:

Does anyone still like the Mackie VLZ Pro mixer???
Lesson learned -equipment review/warning
Cheap mic cables = feedback?
Powered Mixers - Suggestions?
Running a PA in mono vs. stereo?
A few small PA setup questions
Yamaha powered mixer quality?
How many watts for a practice space PA?
PA setup

Add microphones, PA (which you can't search on), subs, speakers, PA sized amps, eq, compression, crossovers, and all the other endless live sound reinforcement topics and I think it could be an active forum and great resource for bass players. Just a thought...
