I don't know if it would be possible, but I think it would be really nice to have an option when you're posting in a thread to only receive a subscription e-mail notification if someone directly quotes what you posted. That way you could choose to only be notified if someone has a question or comment about something you said. Especially in bigger threads where you could easily miss something like that.
